The setup is right out of a Hollywood production, as the bar overlooks the exciting casino inside the Peppermill Hotel and Casino. The watering hole is equally popular with tourists and locals, so make sure that you bring your camera and get several shots of this high-energy night spot.

Looking to find the most happening scene for live music and entertainment? Then Reno's Freight House District is just the ticket. The district comprises several hot spots including Duffy's Ale House, the 250 Lounge, Bugsy's Sports Bar and Grill and the Arroyo Mexican Grill. Area, regional and nationally known musicians have graced the stage at Duffy's, and there's always something going on at the other venues in this fun, highly entertaining corner of the city.

The Cactus Creek Southwestern Steakhouse is worth the effort it takes to find it, although you might have passed it or may be close to it without even realizing it! The restaurant is in the Bonanza Casino just north of downtown, and both the casino and eatery are local favorites that tourists may not find right away. The steaks are plentiful slabs of beef, and the side dishes are just as delectable. Add in great service, no-hassle parking and a usually short wait for a table and you've found a real jewel of a restaurant.
