Alright it’s time for the Altamont Fair! This three-county annual 6-day festival goes round and round with kid-friendly attractions like the Disc-Connected K.9’s, a group of Frisbee catching dogs, racing pigs, a Two by Two Zoo, Ferris Wheel rides and hours of music, food and fun for the whole family.

Explore an underground adventure! Step inside an elevator to travel 156 feet underground to enter a prehistoric cave in the making for a mere 6 million years. Howe Caverns Adventure Park is home to the most remarkable and mesmerizing limestone. The stalactites, stalagmites and flowstone formations are the best you'll ever see.

The Albany Devils professional ice hockey team took over as the capital city favorite ice team when the Albany River Rats folded in 2010. Pile on some warm clothes and sit and chill while you watch the sports team host an exciting hockey game at their luxury 15,000 plus seat indoor area, the Times Union Center.
