Take an inspired drive-by! St. Joseph’s Church is a testament to the divine inspiration of architect Patrick Keely. The church held its last service in 1993 and today is under restoration by the Historic Albany Foundation to save a building that deserves to continue to grace the capital city skyline.
Plan a family ski trip to Catamount Ski Area to experience some fun snowy attractions. Spend some time on Mount Fray of the Taconic Mountains at a ski resort located minutes away from Albany. The whole family can hop on the slopes and ski side by side or race down the mountainside for snowboarding or snowtubing!
Outdoor lovers go to Albany Pine Bush Preserve. Hikers naturally want to spend time at a nature preserve that treks along trails where visitors camp out to enjoy bird watching, hiking, jogging, horseback riding and even cross-country skiing! Enjoy conservation and recreation!
