The New York Comedy Club showcases African American and Latino comics on their weekly late night Seymour Saturdays. The New York Islanders are one of three professional hockey teams representing the New York metropolitan area. The sports team was founded in 1972 and is part of the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference of the NHL. The Islanders won the Stanley Cup four consecutive times between 1980 and 1983. Hall of Fame players include Al Arbour, Mike Bossy, Clark Gillies, Denis Potvin, Billy Smith, Bill Torrey, Brian Trottier and most recently, Pat LaFontaine.
