Bryant Park Bryant Park

Spend some time as a family, hanging out in Manhattan's Bryant Park. The Museum for African Art was founded in 1984 to raise awareness, understanding and appreciation of African art and culture. The museum has organized nearly 60 critically acclaimed exhibitions that have traveled to almost 140 venues worldwide, including 15 foreign countries. The most well-known exhibitions have been the "Art/Artifact: African Art in Anthropology Collections" in 1988, "Exhibition-ism: Museums and African Art" in 1994, and "Africa Explores: 20th-Century African Art" in 1991.
