The New York Liberty is a franchise of the WNBA based out of New York City. Since making its debut in 1997, the Liberty has missed the playoffs only four times in 14 seasons. The team has won 3 conference championships and has competed in the WNBA Finals four times. The bridge was completed in 1883, making it one of the oldest suspension bridges in the nation and an essential piece of the city's skyline. The bridge connects the boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn, extending 1,595.5 feet over the East River. It is equipped with six lanes to accommodate vehicles and a walkway along the centerline for pedestrians and bicycles.

See the stunning architecture of the United Nations Headquarters, located in the Turtle Bay neighborhood of Manhattan. The complex was built in 1950 on land donated by the Rockefeller family and the famous building overlooks the East River on what is considered "international territory."
