The Gershwin Theatre opened in 1972 and is the current home of the Theater Hall of Fame. Oklahoma!, Riverdance, Peter Pan, Fiddler on the Roof, Singin' in the Rain, My Fair Lady, and The King and I are just a few among the many plays that have taken place at Gershwin Theatre. The museum has a collection of ships and other war craft including the World War II aircraft carrier USS Intrepid, the submarine USS Growler, a Concorde SST and a Lockheed A-12 supersonic reconnaissance plane.
