Let the kids run wild at Hudson River Park. The park is full of kid-friendly activities like tennis courts, soccer fields, batting cages, and a playground. If you want a closer look at the world of film making, look no further than the Museum of the Moving Image. This media museum uses its collection of the art, history, technique and technology of film, television and digital media to expand public understanding and appreciation of film making. Over 130,000 objects, including licensed merchandise, technical apparatus, still photographs, production design material, costumes, fan magazines, publicity materials and video and computer games, can be found on display here.

The New York Comedy Club is located on 24th Street in New York City. You're guaranteed to laugh here, as the club hosts comedians that have been featured on HBO, Comedy Central, Def Jam, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Chapelle's Show, Last Comic Standing and other popular comedy programs. Friday and Saturday, the club presents the almost always sold-out Clayton Fletcher Show. The New York Comedy Club showcases African American and Latino comics on their weekly late night Seymour Saturdays. The event is NYC's longest running show of its kind and is headlined by Seymour Swan. With all of these nightly shows, you can get a laugh in any day of the week.

When you're checking out the sights of Brooklyn, be sure to spend some time at Prospect Park. The beautiful park occupies 585 acres and boasts a sprawling 90-acre meadow, aptly named Long Meadow, man-made waterways and lakes, the Prospect Park Zoo, a boathouse for Brooklyn's only lake, facilities for a variety of sports and the Prospect Park Bandshell concert venue. Musicians like Modest Mouse, Emmylou Harris and Bob Dylan have played at the venue, so keep an eye on the park's calendar because you never know when your favorite singer may take the stage.
