The New York Liberty is a franchise of the WNBA based out of New York City. Since making its debut in 1997, the Liberty has missed the playoffs only four times in 14 seasons. The team has won 3 conference championships and has competed in the WNBA Finals four times. The Metropolitan Museum of Art, or "The Met" is located on the east side of Central Park along Museum Mile in NYC.
