St. Patrick's Cathedral is a Roman Catholic cathedral located on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, and one of the most beautiful pieces of architecture in the city. The building serves the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York and occupies an entire city block. The famous cathedral is one of many New York City National Historic Landmarks and is a sight of NYC you must see.

The Park Avenue Armory was built in 1880 and served as the headquarters for the 7th New York Militia Regiment, or the Silk Stocking Regiment. Over a century later, the Armory is now an arts institution that features work that compliments the building and its period rooms; rooms include a reception room, veterans room, staff offices, and a library designed by Louis Comfort Tiffany. Arts featured at the Armory span the realms of live performances, installations and paintings.

Central Park is one of New York City's best known landmarks, so visiting here with your family should be a shoe-in on your list of attractions to see. The park is home to several man-made lakes and ponds, walking and recreation trails, two ice-skating rinks, a wildlife sanctuary and many other natural amenities. Grand Central Terminal was built by the New York Central Railroad in the prime time of American long-distance passenger trains. The Grand Central Market is also housed in the terminal.
