The Park Avenue Armory was built in 1880 and served as the headquarters for the 7th New York Militia Regiment, or the Silk Stocking Regiment. Over a century later, the Armory is now an arts institution that features work that compliments the building and its period rooms; rooms include a reception room, veterans room, staff offices, and a library designed by Louis Comfort Tiffany. Arts featured at the Armory span the realms of live performances, installations and paintings.

See renown works like The Starry Night by Vincent van Gogh, Les Demoiselles d'Avignon by Pablo Picasso, and Water Lilies by Claude Monet as you explore the galleries of the famed Museum of Modern Art. The New York Liberty is a franchise of the WNBA based out of New York City. Since making its debut in 1997, the Liberty has missed the playoffs only four times in 14 seasons. The team has won 3 conference championships and has competed in the WNBA Finals four times. Despite being one of the most successful teams in WNBA history, the New York Liberty has yet to clench the WNBA Championship. Hall of Famers include Teresa Weatherspoon and Rebecca Lobo.
