Get an eyeful of art at the Bronx Museum of the Arts, considered to be the "flagship cultural institution of the Bronx." The museum was founded in 1971 and features contemporary and 20th century artwork created by culturally diverse, American artists. There are more than 800 paintings, sculptures, photographs and works on paper in the museum's permanent collection.

The Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufman Center shares the Kaufman complex with the Lucy Moses School and the Special Music School. This performance hall has won awards for adventurous programming and architectural design. Performances at the hall begin at the sidewalk, offering a glamorous experience from the aesthetically pleasing appearance to coat checking and refreshment buying.

The Robert F. Wagner, Jr. Park is a combination of open lawns and gardens sprawled through paths and walkways. The New York Liberty is a franchise of the WNBA based out of New York City. Since making its debut in 1997, the Liberty has missed the playoffs only four times in 14 seasons. The team has won 3 conference championships and has competed in the WNBA Finals four times. Despite being one of the most successful teams in WNBA history, the New York Liberty has yet to clench the WNBA Championship. Hall of Famers include Teresa Weatherspoon and Rebecca Lobo.
