Those with an interest in military and maritime history will enjoy the exhibits at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum. The museum has a collection of ships and other war craft including the World War II aircraft carrier USS Intrepid, the submarine USS Growler, a Concorde SST and a Lockheed A-12 supersonic reconnaissance plane. Exhibits showcase aircraft from: the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Army, U.S. Coast Guard, NASA and Britain, Italy, France, Israel, China and Poland.

Take a stroll down one of the city's most famous streets on a tour with Wall Street Walks. The company provides guided tours through Lower Manhattan with extra attention paid to the financial aspect of the city. The tour also includes a focus on NYC history and the financial impact the city has had on our nation.

The High Line is a park on the lower west side of Manhattan. The park is built on a section of the freight railroad that runs 1.45 miles from the Meat Packing District up to 20th Street. After further development, the park will stretch through the neighborhood of Chelsea to the West Side Yard. The park offers attractions and design, garden, family, art and history programs.

Hang out at the Staten Island Zoo to see cool animal attractions like the Serpentarium, an exhibit that houses one of the nation's largest rattlesnake collections. There are around 858 animals that live at the zoo, including its most famous resident, Staten Island Chuck, the city's official Groundhog Day forecaster.
