When you're checking out the sights of Brooklyn, be sure to spend some time at Prospect Park. The beautiful park occupies 585 acres and boasts a sprawling 90-acre meadow, aptly named Long Meadow, man-made waterways and lakes, the Prospect Park Zoo, a boathouse for Brooklyn's only lake, facilities for a variety of sports and the Prospect Park Bandshell concert venue. Although the park is still under construction, the Pier 1 and Pier 6 sections are open to the public – meaning you can enjoy beautiful views of the city right next to the bridge. The park is set to be 66% completed by 2013.

The Staten Island Museum offers the perfect presentation of exhibitions that feature natural sciences, fine art and history. When you visit the museum, you'll be able to explore a collection of over 500,000 botanical, biological, anthropological and mineral specimens. As you stroll through the island's oldest cultural institution, you'll also find an art collection that includes works that span prehistory to the modern period. The historical collections and library on site include maps, atlases, early films, audio recordings, photos and archival documents that date back to the 17th century. Another of New York City's world-famous entertainment venues, Radio City Music Hall has been a city landmark since the 1930s. The hall has hosted events like the Grammy Awards, Tony Awards and the MTV Music Awards, among many others. The venue has been the home of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular for over 70 years and continues to be one of the city's most popular tourist attractions.
