Over 2,000 paintings and drawings have been amassed from all over the globe to complete the museum's collection. The museum is also home to 19 rare pieces created by children during the 1938 Works Progress Administration Children's Art Project under President Roosevelt. The New York Rangers is a hockey team based in NYC and is part of the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference of the NHL.
