This museum boasts a collection that is comprised of over 800,000 objects and a photo archive of 125,000 images that detail the lives of the Native American peoples. The Park Avenue Armory was built in 1880 and served as the headquarters for the 7th New York Militia Regiment, or the Silk Stocking Regiment.
