The Metropolitan Museum of Art, or "The Met" is located on the east side of Central Park along Museum Mile in NYC. The museum is home to more than two million works of art, divided among 19 curatorial departments. This National Historic Landmark District is considered to be the "crown jewel" of Staten Island.
