Join the discussion of the cultural, creative and social significance of television, radio and the media-interested public by visiting The Paley Center for Media. In lieu of a collection of artifacts and memorabilia, the center houses mostly screening rooms and boasts two full-sized theaters. The Paley Center's library is home to more than 120,000 television shows, commercials and radio programs. The center's founders believe that many television and radio programs are significant works and should be preserved for future generations.
Architects will appreciate the exhibits at the Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum. The museum is housed in the former Andrew Carnegie Mansion and features exhibits and artifacts that showcase design history, along with contemporary design. The collection is showcased in four departments: Product Design and Decorative Arts; Drawings, Prints and Graphic Design; Textiles, and Wallcoverings.
Another of NYC's record setting teams is the New York Giants. The Giants have been NFC division champions fifteen times. The sports team ranks third among all NFL franchises with seven championship titles. The NYG represent the New York metropolitan area and share the MetLife Stadium with the New York Jets.
