The New York Islanders are one of three professional hockey teams representing the New York metropolitan area. Hall of Fame players include Al Arbour, Mike Bossy, Clark Gillies, Denis Potvin, Billy Smith, Bill Torrey, Brian Trottier and most recently, Pat LaFontaine.
