The New York Rangers is a hockey team based in NYC and is part of the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference of the NHL. The Lunt-Fontanne Theatre is located on West 46th Street in Manhattan's Theatre District. The 1,505-seat Broadway theater was named for famous American acting couple, Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne. Photographs of the couple are showcased in the theater lobby. The theater has hosted productions of The Sound of Music, Beatlemania, Peter Pan, Titanic, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid and The Addams Family, just to name a few.
