Enjoy a beer at the Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden. Opened in 1910, the Bohemian Hall is now the last original beer garden in all of NYC. The garden offers beers from the Czech Republic and Slovakia, Belgium, Germany, Great Britain and the United State of America. While you're fueling up on delicious brews, try something from the menu; the hall serves Czech and Slovakian cuisine and some American favorites.

Built by philanthropist Andrew Carnegie in 1891, the hall remains to be one of the most prestigious venues in the world. The distinguished venue has hosted performances by the most relevant music artists of our time, including The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, The Beach Boys, Pink Floyd, Elton John, David Bowie, Billy Joel, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Frank Sinatra, Bruce Springsteen, Johnny Cash, Sting, and Miles Davis.

Spend a day exploring the recreation trails at Van Cortlandt Park. The park is home to five trails that stretch out over a mile, meaning you have plenty to explore on an excursion here. There are also other amenities at the park, including tennis and basketball courts, playgrounds, running tracks, barbecue areas and lots more.

Tour the history of the city and explore the exhibits and attractions at the Museum of the City of New York. The museum was founded in 1923 to showcase the history of New York City, and is home to art in various medias like paintings, drawings, prints and photographs featuring the city and its residents. Other pieces of the collection include costumes, decorative objects and furniture, toys, rare books and manuscripts, marine and military artifacts, police and fire artifacts and items documenting the golden age of Broadway theater.
