When you're in NYC, you can't miss the world-famous attraction that is the Brooklyn Bridge. The bridge was completed in 1883, making it one of the oldest suspension bridges in the nation and an essential piece of the city's skyline. The bridge connects the boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn, extending 1,595.5 feet over the East River. The Winter Garden Theater is located on Broadway in Manhattan. The theater and entertainment venue opened in 1811, hosting the musical La Belle Paree. The longest running production at the theater was Cats. The show opened in 1982 and was performed at the theater 7,485 times over 19 years.

The Nicholas Roerich Museum is dedicated to the works of Russian-born artist, Nicholas Roerich. His work focused on nature scenes from the Himalayas and there are rumored to be thousands of Roerich paintings around the world. His paintings explore the "mythic origins, the natural beauty, and the spiritual strivings of humanity and of the world." The museum is home to between 100 and 200 of Roerich's paintings as well as a collection of archival materials. People from all around the world visit New York to see the work of Roerich.
