Founded to celebrate the city's status as a major producer of relevant films, the Tribeca Film Festival has garnered tons of publicity since its debut in 2002. This event showcases a broad spectrum of films, including independent films, documentaries, narratives, family-friendly flicks, and plenty more as over 1,500 screenings take place.
