Take a look back at Native American history and culture at the National Museum of the American Indian. This museum boasts a collection that is comprised of over 800,000 objects and a photo archive of 125,000 images that detail the lives of the Native American peoples. The objects showcased include works of aesthetic, religious and historical significance and articles used for everyday use.

Fans of art and sculpture will enjoy a stroll through the Socrates Sculpture Park, founded by an American sculptor named Mark di Suvero in 1986. What was once an abandoned landfill is now an outdoor exhibition space for sculpture and large-scale work. Enjoy the sights and attractions of Union Square, located at the intersection of Broadway and 4th Avenue. The four Zeckendorf Towers mark the eastern side of the square. Union Square South is a mix-use area featuring a kinetic wall sculpture and a digital clock, Metronome. The west side of the park is marked by miscellaneous buildings, one of them being the Decker Building. Union Square is home to famous sculpture art like the equestrian statue of George Washington, the James Fountain, and statues of the Marquis de Lafayette, Abraham Lincoln, and Mahatma Gandhi.
