S.O.B's is one of the city's most popular music and nightlife venues, and has been active on the party scene since 1982. Known as the "Home of Universal Music," the live entertainment venue has hosted performances of music from all genres, from Latin to Caribbean, Haitian, hip-hop, R&B and more. Tour the attraction that is the world-famous Yankee Stadium. Home to Major League Baseball's New York Yankees, the 50,000+ seat stadium boasts a Hard Rock Cafe, a steakhouse called NYY and the Mohegan Sun sports bar. The facility is embellished with hundreds of photographs detailing the history of the Yankees franchise; the exhibition of the photos includes over 2,000 pictures from sources like the Daily News, Getty Images, the Baseball Hall of Fame and Major League Baseball. Architects will appreciate the exhibits at the Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum. The museum is housed in the former Andrew Carnegie Mansion and features exhibits and artifacts that showcase design history, along with contemporary design. The collection is showcased in four departments: Product Design and Decorative Arts; Drawings, Prints and Graphic Design; Textiles, and Wallcoverings.
