Stroll through the gardens of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden to see over 10,000 species of plant life thriving in the city. The BBG sprawls over 52 acres near the Prospect Heights, Crown Heights and Park Slope neighborhoods. The garden is occupied by the Steinhardt Conservatory where the C.V. Starr Bonsai Museum is located. The conservatory features three climate-themed plant pavilions, a white cast-iron and glass aquatic plant house and an art gallery. Fans of flora and fauna will appreciate the attractions in bloom here.

The Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufman Center shares the Kaufman complex with the Lucy Moses School and the Special Music School. This performance hall has won awards for adventurous programming and architectural design. The New York Rangers is a hockey team based in NYC and is part of the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference of the NHL. The team was founded in 1926 and is considered one of the oldest teams in the league. In the 1927-1928 season, the Rangers became the first franchise to win the Stanley Cup. They have since won the championship three more times: 1932-1933, 1939-1940 and 1993-1994.
