The New York Rangers is a hockey team based in NYC and is part of the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference of the NHL. The team was founded in 1926 and is considered one of the oldest teams in the league. In the 1927-1928 season, the Rangers became the first franchise to win the Stanley Cup.
