S.O.B's is one of the city's most popular music and nightlife venues, and has been active on the party scene since 1982. Known as the "Home of Universal Music," the live entertainment venue has hosted performances of music from all genres, from Latin to Caribbean, Haitian, hip-hop, R&B and more. This museum is home to a rare books and manuscripts research library holding 15,000 books printed before 1700. An intrinsic feature of the museum is the Sorolla Room, which displays a vast series of Sorolla paintings created from 1911 to 1919; these paintings illustrate scenes from each of the provinces of Spain. Other art showcased at the museum include works by Diego Velázquez, Francisco de Goya, El Greco, and Joaquín Sorolla y Bastida, among others.

The Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufman Center shares the Kaufman complex with the Lucy Moses School and the Special Music School. This performance hall has won awards for adventurous programming and architectural design. Performances at the hall begin at the sidewalk, offering a glamorous experience from the aesthetically pleasing appearance to coat checking and refreshment buying.

Tour the attraction that is the world-famous Yankee Stadium. Home to Major League Baseball's New York Yankees, the 50,000+ seat stadium boasts a Hard Rock Cafe, a steakhouse called NYY and the Mohegan Sun sports bar. The facility is embellished with hundreds of photographs detailing the history of the Yankees franchise; the exhibition of the photos includes over 2,000 pictures from sources like the Daily News, Getty Images, the Baseball Hall of Fame and Major League Baseball. There's also the Yankees museum on-site, which is a must-see for die-hard sports fans.
