The Grey Art Gallery is New York University's fine arts museum that operates to document, interpret and exhibit the evidence of human culture through the arts. Grey pinpoints art's historical, cultural, and social elements through organized exhibits featuring all aspects of visual arts, video, film and performance. The gallery hosts traveling exhibitions and produces original exhibitions, some of which travel the nation and abroad. Grand Central Terminal was built by the New York Central Railroad in the prime time of American long-distance passenger trains. Since the decline in popularity of train travel, the terminal has become a booming attraction, home to five superior restaurants and cocktail lounges, including the world famous Oyster Bar and 20 casual eateries. The Grand Central Market is also housed in the terminal. The Morris-Jumel Mansion served as George Washington's headquarters in 1776 during the American Revolution, as the home's hilltop location offered strategic views of the Harlem River, the Bronx, Long Island, the Hudson River, and the New Jersey Palisades. Now, the mansion hosts a variety of exhibits that describe a variety of historic elements that range from war to fashion, politics, art and more.

The Queens Botanical Garden refers to itself as "a living museum, a collection of gardens for the study, culture, exhibition, and display of plants." Explore this 39-acre botanical oasis of rose, bee, herb and perennial gardens. Among the floral attractions, you'll also see the Visitor & Administration Center, New York City's greenest building.
