Enjoy the artworks that comprise The Frick Collection. The collection is housed in the former Henry Clay Frick House, a house that had a reputation for being one of the most opulent houses on Fifth Avenue at a time when the now-famed avenue was abundant with mansions and private clubs.

NYC is known for its public transportation system, and the New York Transit Museum offers full details on how this storied system came to be. Exhibits include explanations of labor involved in subway operations, the methods of travel used by New Yorkers, the construction of the Triborough Bridge, the old process of revenue collection, history of the city's street transport and more. Memorabilia and exhibits include old signs, station artwork, models and dioramas of the subway, two working subway tracks, preserved subway cars, a working signal tower and other equipment.

Built by philanthropist Andrew Carnegie in 1891, the hall remains to be one of the most prestigious venues in the world. Stroll through the gardens of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden to see over 10,000 species of plant life thriving in the city. The BBG sprawls over 52 acres near the Prospect Heights, Crown Heights and Park Slope neighborhoods. The garden is occupied by the Steinhardt Conservatory where the C.V. Starr Bonsai Museum is located. The conservatory features three climate-themed plant pavilions, a white cast-iron and glass aquatic plant house and an art gallery.
