The Richard Rodgers Theatre is a 1,319-seat theater in the Broadway area of Manhattan. The theater is named for legendary Richard Rodgers and features memorabilia from the famous composer's life. The entertainment venue holds the distinction of hosting the highest number of Tony Award-winning plays and musicals, with the current award count at 10. Since opening in 1924, the theater has showcased famous Broadway productions of Damn Yankees, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Nine, Chicago, Of Thee I Sing, Guys and Dolls, Footloose, Seussical, Tarzan and more.

S.O.B's is one of the city's most popular music and nightlife venues, and has been active on the party scene since 1982. Known as the "Home of Universal Music," the live entertainment venue has hosted performances of music from all genres, from Latin to Caribbean, Haitian, hip-hop, R&B and more. A few famous faces who've graced the stage include Damien Marley, Common, Kanye West, Drake, Erykah Badu and John Legend.

The New Jersey Nets is a professional basketball team that plays in the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference in the NBA. The team has been to the NBA playoffs twice but lost both times, in 2002 to the Los Angeles Lakers and in 2003 to the San Antonio Spurs. The Nets currently play in the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey but are anticipating a relocation to Brooklyn, NYC once the new Barclays Center is complete.

Years later, the synagogue is still pursuing its cultural and educational mission through informative tours, walking tours, concerts, festivals, readings, and other special events that relate to American Jewish history, the history of the Lower East Side and immigration.
