The Town Hall is an entertainment venue in Manhattan, and since opening in 1921, the hall has become a premier avenue for educational programs, activist gatherings and performance space for music, dance and other performing arts media. Throughout the years, the Town Hall has seen the faces of many famous musical, political, artistic and intellectual personalities. Founded to celebrate the city's status as a major producer of relevant films, the Tribeca Film Festival has garnered tons of publicity since its debut in 2002.
