See the way Cincy Shakes It when you watch one of the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company’s performances. If you want to see a traditionally performed and thoughtfully crafted theatrical piece, look no further. Contrary to the name, this theater troupe produces all manner of classical plays, from Jane Austen adaptations to works by the Great Bard himself.

If you only have time to visit one section of Union Terminal, make it Duke Energy Children’s Museum for some educational fun designed specifically for children ages one to twelve. With eight unique exhibits and attractions, and a large indoor play area where children can safely bounce off the walls to their hearts’ content, this museum is a children’s wonderland.

Follow the Boy Scout guide, available for free printing on the website, for the Dan Beard Riverwalk. This simple, 5-mile recreational trail follows the riverfront starting from the famous Newport Southbank Bridge, originally known as the L&N Bridge and popularly dubbed the Purple People Bridge. Just follow the inset Riverwalk logos and read through the guide to discover some interesting history along the trail.

You know it’s autumn when Oktoberfest-Zinzinnati rolls around. Mark the change of the seasons with some of the best German-style music, food and beer in the Midwest at this festival. The largest Oktoberfest in North America, Zinzinnati celebrates Cincy’s true party spirit with an abundance of fun for everyone—including the "World’s Largest Chicken Dance" in Fountain Square.
