If you only have time to visit one section of Union Terminal, make it Duke Energy Children’s Museum for some educational fun designed specifically for children ages one to twelve. With eight unique exhibits and attractions, and a large indoor play area where children can safely bounce off the walls to their hearts’ content, this museum is a children’s wonderland.

Find faith in the human spirit at the Center for Holocaust and Humanity Education. This heart wrenching yet inspiring museum showcases the tragedy as well as the tenacity of the human condition. Honor those who lost their lives to the Holocaust and those who survived; and let their stories teach you lessons about the necessity of tolerance, inclusion and social justice in the modern world.

Down by the Lunken Airport Playfield is the Lunken Playfield Loop, a 5-mile paved recreation trail that can be found behind the airport. Get some fresh air in the city and enjoy the wide-open views, and the spectacular sight of airplanes taking off and landing nearby, as you hike, jog, bike or skate in this large loop.

Another major player in Cincy’s cultural scene is the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, or CSO. The fifth oldest orchestra in the US, the CSO is well known throughout the world for its recordings and tours. For over 200 years, the CSO has brought evolutionary music to Ohio and continues to do so with its year-round performances. Hear them play in the historic Music Hall!
