First opened in 1925, Belterra Park Gaming remains the top thoroughbred horse racetrack attraction in Cincinnati. Located on the city’s outskirts, this 1-mile oval track has survived disastrous floods as well as the passage of time to become one of the best state-of-the-art racetracks in the country.

Welcome in the spring with the quaint and charming Appalachian Festival, a three-day music and crafts festivals on Coney Island. Begun almost a decade ago in the basement of the Cincinnati Music Hall, this annual festival has grown into the Cincinnati Junior League’s biggest event, drawing in more than 130 crafters, dozens of entertainers and nearly 50,000 people!

Near the banks of the Ohio River you’ll find Sawyer Point. This large segment of Cincinnati’s Central Riverfront is filled to the brim with fun activities. The meticulously kept landscape draws in those who want a bit of green in the midst of the concrete jungle.
