Beer lovers unite! Bockfest, the oldest bock beer festival in the country, celebrates not only Cincinnati’s brewing heritage but also the beginning of spring. Events kick off with a parade, led by the reigning Sausage Queen and a goat pulling a bock beer keg. Afterward, the weekend is filled with live entertainment, great food, walking tours, brewing demonstrations and lots and lots of beer.
Come by the Cincinnati Arts Association’s Music Hall for a memorable musical performance. Home to the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, the Cincinnati Opera, the May Festival Chorus and the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, this historic entertainment venue and performance hall maintains its classical architecture and appeal along with some of the best acoustics in the world.
About half an hour away from the heart of Cincinnati, Trammel Fossil Park in Sharonville is a wonderfully underappreciated family attraction. At the far end of an industrial park road, this hidden treasure offers tons of family fun for those budding paleontologists or anyone with an interest in natural history.
