The CAC collects and displays a variety of paintings, sculptures, photographs, performance arts and new media in its stylish and architecturally impressive galleries. Although the Taft Museum of Art is housed in the Taft’s former villa, this house museum contains an extensive collection of paintings, porcelains, sculptures, decorative arts, furniture and much more in its spacious rooms. This expansive display includes old master paintings from Europe and America by artists like Dominique Ingres, Frans Hals, Rembrandt van Rijn and others.
