If you only have time to visit one section of Union Terminal, make it Duke Energy Children’s Museum for some educational fun designed specifically for children ages one to twelve. With eight unique exhibits and attractions, and a large indoor play area where children can safely bounce off the walls to their hearts’ content, this museum is a children’s wonderland.
Constructed in an old passenger railroad station, the Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal now houses three museums, an OMNIMAX theater and a library in its massive facility. Learn about the history of the city at the Cincinnati History Museum; explore the entire world at the Museum of Natural History and Science; or let the little ones have a blast at the Duke Energy Children's Museum.
Journey back to when Cincy was one of the most prosperous cities in the country. Cincinnati Brewery District Lager Tours not only showcase the Queen City’s rich (and delicious) brewing history, it also explores the influence of prohibition on the culture. See all the big-name breweries and the tunnels beneath them that played major roles in the development of the city.
For a touch of refinement during your evening, visit Henke Winery. Run by a local family, this wine bar and winery offers an excellent selection of every wine imaginable. Choose from some of the highest quality wines to sip on in the city, and enjoy your glass in an intimate, cozy nightlife atmosphere.
