Welcome in the spring with the quaint and charming Appalachian Festival, a three-day music and crafts festivals on Coney Island. Begun almost a decade ago in the basement of the Cincinnati Music Hall, this annual festival has grown into the Cincinnati Junior League’s biggest event, drawing in more than 130 crafters, dozens of entertainers and nearly 50,000 people!
Conveniently located downtown, the Woodstone Creek Winery and Distillery provides Cincinnati with wonderful access to a wide range of high quality wines, meads and spirits. This artisan winery and boutique distillery offers guests over the age of 21 the opportunity to sample some of these finely crafted wines in its elegant tasting rooms.
The Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden may be one of the oldest zoos in America, but it still has its wild side! This National Historic Landmark attraction covers a little over 65 acres and is packed with packs of exotic and native animals.
