The tradition of excellence in local theater has been maintained in Cleveland since 1915 because of the tireless efforts of the professionals involved with the Cleveland Play House. The entertainment venue has many distinctions, not the least of which is the fact that it stands as the country's first professional regional theater. Since the lights first came up on its stage, more than 12 million people have enjoyed some truly memorable performances. County fairs always seem to bring out the best in people. That tradition still holds true at the Cuyahoga County Fair held every August. The fact that the fair has been held every year for the past 115 years speaks volumes about its tradition and popularity. More than twenty midway rides, 100 food vendors, country music and a demolition derby all make this a must-attend festival!
