The tradition of excellence in local theater has been maintained in Cleveland since 1915 because of the tireless efforts of the professionals involved with the Cleveland Play House. The entertainment venue has many distinctions, not the least of which is the fact that it stands as the country's first professional regional theater. Since the lights first came up on its stage, more than 12 million people have enjoyed some truly memorable performances. The Cleveland Asian Festival celebrates the sights, sounds, tastes and traditions of the Asian culture in a variety of very memorable ways. One of the many highlights include a 23-foot-tall money tree that is located right across from the museum's entrance. While the majority of the tour is self-guided, the admission is free.
