Travel back in time to 1908 to tour an authentically-restored engine house. Take a personal guided tour through a collection of hand-drawn, horse-drawn, and motorized fire apparatus. Retrace the steps of what it was being a firefighter, living their day-to-day lives in the engine house. The Central Ohio Fire Museum pays tribute to the firefighters that risked their lives to help their communities in the time of need.

A new exhibit, “History of EMS Through Art” opened on February 8, 2020, features early EMS advertising and artwork from Daniel Sundahl. Sundahl, a Canadian paramedic whose artwork illustrates the stresses and mental health issues faced by emergency service professionals, creates the artwork as part of his own therapy to deal with PTSD.

The Columbus Ohio Fire Fighter’s Museum, Inc. (dba The Central Ohio Fire Museum and Learning Center) is a 501c (3) charitable organization formed to preserve firefighting history and teach fire safety education.
