Maumee State Park offers plenty of enticing natural amenities. One of the most popular is the availability of two sand beaches. One of these beaches is located on the Lake Erie shore while the other one is available via the park's inland lake. The beaches boast a concession area as well as amenities like bathrooms and changing booths.

Enjoy the scenery while learning about some interesting pieces of history when you take a tour on Toledo's Sandpiper Boat. This is a passenger cruise vessel that offers tours of the Maumee River and is available for public and private boat rides from May through October.
