Fans of nature and the great outdoors feel right at home at Toledo's Wildwood Preserve Metropark. There are plenty of fun activities available here that include a boardwalk, a covered bridge, a 100-year-old schoolhouse and even a hiking trail that leads to the University Parks Trail.

Even though the bar may be called Village Idiot, this is one of the smartest destinations for nighttime fun. This bar attracts a primarily young, alternative crowd of 20 and 30-year-olds. Live music is featured every Thursday through Sunday night and the bands perform everything from alternative to blues to Dead Head classics. The atmosphere is trendy, as the nightlife venue features high ceilings and an expansive area to mingle and dance. The attire (and atmosphere) is cool but casual.
