This unique style of country and western music combined elements of jazz, hillbilly, boogie, blues, big band swing, rhumba, mariachi, and jitterbug to create something extraordinary. Bob Wills played weekly dances, hosted a midnight radio show, and even had a daily noon-hour program at Cain's Ballroom during his heyday.
