Stroll hand-in-hand at Utica Square, a village-like retail and restaurant center that is an anchor of midtown Tulsa. Have dinner at the Stonehorse Café and do some dazzling window shopping (or buying?) at Moody's Jewelry, for starters.
Take a short trip outside of Tulsa to the Will Rogers Memorial Museum, where you can view his artifacts, memorabilia, saddle collection and more. America's favorite satirist and cowboy poet from the Great Depression, Will Rogers originally bought the 20-acre land as a retirement estate, but died shortly after.
Head for the wild blue yonder and get an eyeful of the gorgeous landscape and breathtaking details of Tulsa and the surrounding area. Fly with Tulsa County Helicopters for a city tour, a Christmas light tour, or a romantic rendezvous with your sweetie above it all.
The Center of the Universe Festival is a two-day, music and arts experience in July. The event features more than 100 bands on multiple outdoor stages, a street market of local and regional displaying and selling, their work, and choose from the many restaurants, bars and clubs in the Brady District or walk up to numerous food trucks and other vendors.
