Not only is Festival Americas a fun and entertaining event, but it also aims to inspire the next generation of leaders in Tulsa's Hispanic & Latino community. The Festival offers college scholarships and community funding to college-bound students during the event. Over the past five years, Festival Americas has awarded $35,000 in college scholarships thanks to the support of generous sponsors and vendors. With over 35,000 attendees, 125 performers, art vendors, 30 scholarship recipients, and even 3 Latin Grammy performers, Festival Americas is the ultimate celebration of Latin American culture in Oklahoma.

Despite facing a fire in 2008, the restaurant has maintained its historic charm with its original rock walls, foundation, and grill from WWII. The menu features unique items like the alligator burger, Reuben sandwich, and German jager schnitzel that keep customers returning for more. It's no wonder that the Rock Cafe has served many famous faces, including Robert Plant, Matt Groening, and Bryant Gumbel. The cafe was owned by Dawn Welch in 1993 and inspired a character in the animated film "Cars."
