Buy your next piece of art at the Art in the Pearl event. This festival features a variety of paintings, glassworks, sculpture and other arts by local and regional artists, along with handcrafted goods, jewelry, furniture and more. The event has been a part of the community for over 15 years.

Go crazy on the rides and attractions at Oaks Park Amusement Park & Roller Rink, a popular Portland destination that made its debut in 1905. You'll find favorite rides like the Tilt-a-Whirl and the ferris wheel, along with other fun attractions like go-karts, bumper cars, huge slides, mini golf, a skating rink, and a nice selection of kiddie rides.

Hang out in the middle of the city at Tryon Creek State Park. This park is the only state park in Oregon to be located within a metropolitan area, meaning you can experience fun outdoors without having to venture too far from the city. Hiking, biking, and nature walking are popular at this park.
