Learn about Jewish history and culture at the Oregon Jewish Museum. Along with an extensive archive collection, the museum hosts several exhibits including traveling features. Some of the exhibitions showcased include Transport – Works by Henk Pander and Esther Podemski and The Dawn of Tomorrow: Oregon Jews and Woman Suffrage.
There's no better place to enjoy nature than at Portland's Forest Park, known as the nation's largest wooded city park. The park occupies over 5,000 acres and sits overlooking the beautiful Willamette River, providing a peaceful environment for hikers, bikers, and outdoor lovers in general.
You and the kids will learn a lot as you explore the exhibits and attractions at the Portland Children's Museum. The exhibits here encourage touching, playing and experiencing education first hand. Some of the features include Building Bridgetown, The Clay Studio, Pet Hospital, Play It Again Theater, and Twilight Trail, among others.
