Explore the realm of science and the world of industry at the Oregon Museum of Science & Industry. The exhibits and attractions here bring various aspects of both subjects to life. Check out features like the planetarium, the Turbine Hall, the Life Sciences Hall, the Science Playground, and the OMNIMAX Theater.

See a little piece of literature that's been brought to life and immortalized at the Beverly Cleary Sculpture Garden. The sculptures here were created in the likeness of Cleary's most beloved characters, Ramona Quimby, Henry Huggins, and the Huggins' dog Ribsy. The statues are complete with fountains that create a fun environment to play, and also feature plaques with the titles of Cleary's Portland-based stories.

Explore the habitat of some of Portland's native wildlife at the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge. The refuge is home to a variety of creatures, including about 200 species of birds, 50 species of mammals, and 25 species of reptiles and amphibians. Be sure to check out the exhibits at the Wildlife Center to learn a little more about the wildlife you'll see as you venture through the outdoor preserve.
